| Awareness is the Key For
Personal and Professional Development |
| |
| Are you getting
a sense that your new or established practice requires tools
of a new calibre? Clients stress levels seem ever higher.
I guess we deal with more stresses and strains in the 21st
Century, than ever before. |
| |
| Your clients
come with challenging conditions. You may learn a technique,
and after a while it feels useful to have more depth and greater
understanding. To support yourself, feel more confident, stay
connected and refresh your knowledge, you need more training. |
| |
| I guess it may feel very different,
new and baffling at times working WITH people. It is not just
their bodies needing attention; we get in touch with people's
emotions, thought processes, and energy, as well as needing
to keep our own 'stuff' in check. Especially with bodywork,
preparing ourselves thoroughly through understanding energy
is one essential way of taking charge of our professional capacity
as well as our wellbeing. |
| |
| Awareness is key |
| For me, awareness
of energy is one of those cornerstones to personal and professional
development. |
|
|
| Let's see: |
| Would you
enjoy greater understanding and insight into how the body
and energy and your techniques work, how to feel safe grounded
and at ease? Working with awareness provides just that and
much more. You gain inner clarity and ease, it also facilitates
inner freedom and self knowledge. In a professional capacity
it affords a clearer assessment of the client and ability
to work appropriately and safely. It gives the overview for
utilising the most effective technique while keeping in tune
with your own needs. |

| |
| A person's energy may not be visible,
but that does not mean that it's not there or that it does not
effect you. |
| When not taking
the layers of stress in the energy field / body into consideration
when treating, it is likely that the client experiences some
subtle form of additional stress. On the subconscious level
there is a sense of holding on, safety and trust are lacking,
so the Nervous System stays aroused. This then stops the cells
from releasing the stress memory. Having to deal with these
energies on a subtle level can be a reason for the practitioner
to develop a sensitivity over time. Readying ourselves by
growing awareness develops confidence, ease, grounding and
being in control. This learning offers a greater insight into
our own being. More and more people are seeking complementary
therapy as a refuge to reduce stress levels, to stay focused
and on top. By grounding our techniques through awareness
we feel safer, and more assured. When we are aware there is
much that can be done in the way of healing ourselves and
our clients. |
